Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe
Occasionally found out that one of my favorite computer game is now open-source :) Moreover it can be installed and used not only on Windows, but on Linux, Mac OS and other.
If you feel like you wanna play a nice, calm strategy (in SimCity style) - this is right the game you need.
BTW.: it is a now a multiplayer as well :)

in order to play it you will need the data files from the old TTD.
Alternatevly you can go here:

to download the prepacked version of OpenTTD, data files and integrated Transport Tycoon Deluxe Patch (TTDPatch) which allows you to change some more game settings (aroung 100 additional settings).
I have tried the second link at my home PC (Fedora Core 4) and it works fine (that’s why I feel very sleepy today - I was playing till 5 o’clock in the morning!!!)

strange - it was working. Anyway - I have it downloaded and I can give it you (both Win and Lin version and both are checked by me). All together I have around 16MB of the sources and installers (I just downloaded most of them to check whats the difference and just for the case)
